It is difficult to know what to trust today, and when I saw these new Fortnite April Fools Quests I thought they were a joke. But, they are real as Epic Games is joining in on the fun today.
These news April Fools Quests task players with lightening up a bit and not be so focused on sweating every game, bringing back some of the fun that made Fortnite such a smash-hit back in 2017.
Here are the new Fortnite April Fools Quests, now go and touch some grass!

Epic Games has released a collection of April Fools Quests that will only be available in Fortnite today. These Quests encourage players to do things they either typically wouldn’t do in a match, or just to troll players. One of these is to “touch grass,” something that is often used as an insult to people who spend a lot of time on the internet.
Here is a list of all of the Quests you can complete today, to earn some extra XP towards completing the Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Pass.
- Place anything but first
- Break open chests instead of searching them
- Touch grass
- Drive safely on the road for 100 meters
- Land over here and over there
- Find the coolest player on the island
- Don’t read me, I’m not here

Players will naturally complete many of these Quests throughout the day, such as ‘Place anything but first’ as losing a match will complete this, as well as ‘Break open chests instead of searching them,’ which will be completed by depleting the HP of a chest or destroying the floor underneath it.
Other challenges may be more difficult to complete, such as ‘Find the coolest player on the Island,’ which players can complete by looking in a mirror. That is a nice confidence boost, thanks Epic Games, I needed that.
If you haven’t managed to reach level 100 yet, you still have one month to go to unlock Sub-Zero as Season 2 is set to conclude on May 2nd. If you prefer Sub-Zero’s arch-nemesis you’re in luck too as Scorpion was recently added to the Fortnite Item Shop alongside Kitana and Raiden.
Coupled with a new upcoming Mortal Kombat-themed LTM, players have plenty to do until Season 3, which is rumored to be focused on Star Wars as part of the long-running collaboration between the two Disney-owned IPs.
