It was announced yesterday that more Mortal Kombat characters will be joining Sub-Zero in Fortnite later this week as Scorpion, Kitana, and Raiden are set to hit the Item Shop on March 28th.
Sub-Zero was unexpectedly included in the Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Pass, bringing the legendary Lin Kuei ninja to the Battle Royale.
Ahead of the release of the three new Mortal Kombat skins, Epic Games has released a teaser giving us a first look at the characters and how they will look in-game, along with news of more content as part of the collaboration.

In the teaser image, we get a look at what Scorpion will look at in Fortnite, confirming that he is based on his classic Mortal Kombat 3 appearance, the same as Sub-Zero. The image mimics the character select screen from classic Mortal Kombat games, with other original characters taking the places of the likes of Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kano, and Johnny Cage.
Raiden and Kitana can also be seen, but both are blacked out so players have something to look forward to when the Mortal Kombat skins are released in the Fortnite Item Shop in the next rotation. However, the skins are set to be decrypted ahead of their inclusion so it is very likely that leakers will reveal more information later today.
Epic Games also gave a brief look at Scorpion in the latest trailer promoting the upcoming collaboration, including a new Klassic Kombat LTM that begins on April 1st.
In the trailer, we get to see the two rivals Scorpion and Sub-Zero go to battle once again, as well as a glimpse at Scorpion’s unmasked appearance, which can be seen in games when performing his Fire Breath Fatality.
