Nintendo recently held its first Switch 2 Direct, giving us a detailed look at what we can expect from the new console, along with hardware, games, release date, and price.
The first game to be announced for the new system was Mario Kart World, which will be a launch title for the Nintendo Switch 2.
Despite a detailed look at the game during the presentation, Nintendo has announced that Mario Kart World is set to receive its own Direct presentation later this month.

Following the reveal of Mario Kart World, it was announced that players will be able to get a greater look at the upcoming Switch 2 launch title when the Japanese publisher hosts the Mario Kart World Direct on April 17th.
Players will be able to tune in at 9 am ET/2 pm BST to see more Mario Kart World gameplay as Nintendo reveals more information on the game.
The reveal trailer showcased many new features coming to the game, including 24 racers for the first time, an open-world map, and new mechanics such as grinding and wall jumping.

Due to the power of the Nintendo Switch 2, which has vastly improved compared to its predecessor, Nintendo is wasting no time in pushing it to its limits by giving players a fresh take on the legendary series.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch on June 5th, meaning that players have just two months to wait before they can get their hands on Mario Kart World.
