Resident Evil 3 Remake has received a mixed reception over the years, with many feeling that it didn’t quite live up to expectations set by the 1999 original, which saw Jill Valentine tackle Nemesis as she flees Raccoon City due to the zombie outbreak.
Despite this, Resident Evil 3 Remake has gone on to become one of Capcom’s best-selling games, going on to sell over 9.7 million copies worldwide.
Now, Capcom is looking to bring more players to Raccoon City as players can now jump into the 2020 remake on the go.

Capcom has announced today that Resident Evil 3 Remake will be the next entry in the series to receive a port to iOS devices. This follows on from Resident Evil 2 and 4 Remake, Resident Evil 7, and Resident Evil Village. These all received iOS ports in 2023 and 2024.
Survival horror fans who own iPhone 16 models, iPhone 15 Pro models, and every iPad and Mac with the M1 chip or later will be able to download Resident Evil 3 Remake from the App Store.
Players can purchase the game up until April 16 for just $9.99 before the price will increase. The other Resident Evil titles are also on sale during this time, giving fans the perfect opportunity to load up their devices with some of the best horror games of modern times to take on the go. Save data is also transferable between iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.

Due to this version of Resident Evil 3 Remake being a mobile port, it features fully customizable touch controls as well as an Auto Fire feature, making it easier than ever to jump into Raccoon City to fend off the threat of Nemesis as the city is overrun by the undead.
This news comes just hours after the latest Resident Evil 9 leaks were posted by prominent leaker Dusk Golem, who claims that the unannounced game will be a “reinvention of the series” with the same level of impact as Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 7.
